Most portfolios were set up property by property, by whoever was around - different equipment, different providers, nothing written down.
That works until someone leaves or you buy five more buildings. Build every property the same way and a new acquisition becomes a known job instead of a discovery project.
Worth knowing: you hold resident records and move deposits and rent, which attracts fraud - almost always a hacked mailbox and a redirected payment. Locking down email and verifying payment changes stops most of it.

Can you cover properties in different areas?
Monitoring and most support is remote, so we cover properties anywhere. On-site visits are available in Northern Utah.
We just acquired a property with no documentation. Can you take it on?
That's most of them. We map out what's actually there - equipment, accounts, camera systems, who the providers are - then bring it up to standard over time.
Can you work with our existing camera vendor?
Yes. They keep their systems; we look after the network underneath and make sure it's properly secured. In practice we often end up coordinating between vendors, which most clients find is the point.
