Ransomware protection with someone actually watching
Regular antivirus tells you something happened. Ours stops it spreading, undoes the damage, and puts a real person on it - day or night.

Why your antivirus isn't enough any more
Old antivirus is a bouncer with a list of known troublemakers. Today's attacks aren't on the list - they use a stolen password, or turn your own software against you.
Ours watches what programs do instead, so it stops attacks nobody has seen before. And the alert comes to us - software nobody is watching isn't protection, it's a receipt.
Most attacks start in the inbox
Ransomware rarely arrives as an obvious file any more. It starts with a convincing email - a fake invoice, a shared document, a password reset that looks real.
We filter your incoming mail with Check Point, so phishing, spoofed invoices and malicious links get stopped before anyone has the chance to click them. It sits in front of Microsoft 365 and catches what the built-in filtering misses.
The gaps we find in almost every business
None of these are exotic. We see them constantly, and all five are fixable.
Backups the attacker can reach
Ransomware deletes your backups first. If yours sit on the same network with the same password, they're part of the problem.
Everyone's an administrator
When day-to-day accounts can install anything, one wrong click does far more damage than it should.
Two-factor with exceptions
Usually the owner or a shared account somebody found it annoying. That's exactly the account attackers want.
One flat network
The guest Wi-Fi, the security cameras and the server holding customer records all sitting together, able to reach each other.
Ex-staff who still have access
Email got shut off. The remote login and the shared password everyone knows didn't.
Nobody watching the alerts
Security software firing warnings into an inbox that no one has opened since it was set up.

Common questions
How is this different from the antivirus we already have?
Antivirus blocks files it recognizes. Ours watches what programs actually do, so it catches attacks nobody has seen before - and it can roll your files back if something does get through.
Who is 4TressCyber?
It's our security team - same company, same phone number. It just keeps security work clearly separate from general IT support.
Do you filter our email as well?
Yes. We run Check Point filtering on incoming mail, which sits in front of Microsoft 365 and catches phishing, fake invoices and malicious links that the built-in filtering lets through. Most attacks start with an email, so this is usually the single highest-value thing we turn on.
Will it slow our computers down?
No - it's lighter than most antivirus it replaces. If a particular program clashes with it, we make an exception for that program rather than weakening everything.
Does this make us HIPAA compliant?
No product does, and be wary of anyone who says otherwise. Compliance also covers your policies, staff training and paperwork. We handle the technology side and give you documentation to prove it.
Find out what's actually wrong - before you commit to anything.
A free IT check-up gives you a written picture of your computers, network, backups and security. No obligation, and it's yours to keep even if you never hire us.
