One flat monthly fee, quoted after we look

Every business needs something a little different, so we quote after we've had a look. Here's exactly how the number is built.

Break/Fix

You'd rather call us only when something goes wrong.

Hourly

Billed for the work, no monthly fee

  • Repairs and troubleshooting when you call
  • New computers built and set up
  • One-off projects and moves
  • Best where a day offline wouldn't hurt you

What drives the number

Six things, no mystery

How many people and computers

The biggest factor. We'll quote per person or per device - whichever works out cheaper for you.

Servers and equipment

One cloud program costs a lot less to look after than three servers sitting in a closet.

How many locations

More sites means more to connect and visit. Sites built the same way cost less than sites all built differently.

What we find on arrival

A well-kept setup costs less to run. If there's catch-up work to do, we quote it separately as a one-off job so your monthly fee stays clean.

Rules you have to follow

Pharmacy, healthcare and finance need extra documentation and testing. If you need audit-ready paperwork, we price that in properly.

When you need us

Business hours is included. If you genuinely run evenings or weekends, tell us and we'll price that in properly so the cover is real.

Questions

Common questions

Can you give me a ballpark before we talk?

Yes - give us a call and we can usually get close in a few minutes. We just need to know roughly how many people and computers you have, and whether you're running your own servers. We don't put one figure on the page because two businesses the same size often need very different things, and a number that's wrong for you isn't much help.

Is there a contract?

Usually a one-year agreement, because real improvement takes longer than a month or two. But we won't trap you - if it isn't working, we'd rather hand over your documentation cleanly.

What's not included?

Hardware, software licenses, and bigger one-off jobs like a server replacement or an office move. Those are quoted and approved before anything starts. You'll never get an invoice for everyday support.

Do you charge for the check-up?

No. It's free, the report is yours to keep, and there's no obligation. If you take it and fix things yourself, that's genuinely fine.

Is break/fix cheaper?

Some months, yes - you pay nothing. The problem is the month something big breaks, because nobody was watching for it. Break/fix suits small offices where a day offline is survivable. If it isn't, the monthly fee usually costs less than the downtime it prevents.

Can we get security without moving our IT to you?

Yes - that's the Security Only plan. It works alongside your existing IT provider or internal person. We agree up front who acts when an alert fires.

Find out what's actually wrong - before you commit to anything.

A free IT check-up gives you a written picture of your computers, network, backups and security. No obligation, and it's yours to keep even if you never hire us.
