Why it matters who is running your IT company
Most IT companies that support pharmacies learned the vocabulary second-hand. They know a label printer is important because a pharmacy told them so, and they know the software is called PioneerRx because it says so on the screen.
Dallas learned it as a pharmacist. He knows what a stopped queue costs, what an antivirus exclusion has to look like before a fill can print, and why a five-minute reboot at the wrong hour is not a five-minute problem. That is the difference between an IT company that supports pharmacies and one that understands them.
